Every unit at Celtic has its story. Thousands of customers have passed through our doors – each with a different reason, a different life situation. Here are 5 real stories (names changed) that show when self storage truly saves the day.
Story 1: Emergency apartment sale – 48 hours to move out
Customer: Marek, 42, Żoliborz
Situation: Marek was selling his apartment in Żoliborz. The buyer set a condition: notary deed in 2 days, or he backs out. Problem? Marek's new apartment wouldn't be ready for another 6 weeks.
Challenge:
- 65m² apartment to empty over a weekend
- Furniture, books (lawyer – hundreds of volumes), entire family's clothes
- No friends with a free garage
Solution: Marek called us on Friday at 4:00 PM. By 5:30 PM he signed a contract for a 10m² unit. On Saturday and Sunday, with help from a moving company, he transferred the entire apartment.

Story 3: Comic book collection vs. wife
Customer: Tomek, 35, Tarchomin
Situation: Tomek has been collecting Marvel and DC comics for 15 years. He has over 2,000 issues, including rare editions worth several thousand PLN each. After getting married, his wife issued a decree: "either the comics or a second child – there's no room for both."
Challenge:
- Comics require constant temperature and humidity

Solution: A 2m² climate-controlled unit. Tomek set up shelves, organized his collection, and now has his own "comic bunker." Wife happy, baby on the way.

Story 4: Home staging for apartment sale
Customer: Kasia, 38, real estate agent
Situation: Kasia sells apartments and knows that empty, clean interiors sell faster and for more. Problem: owners don't want to remove furniture because "where would we put it?"
Challenge:
- Convince owners to do home staging
- Find a place for furniture during the sale
- Flexible timing (unknown how long the sale will take)
Solution: Kasia has been working with Celtic for 2 years. For every client selling an apartment, she recommends our unit. Owner removes furniture, Kasia does staging, apartment sells, furniture goes to the new place.
Result: Apartments with professional staging sell for an average of 8-12% more.

Story 5: Divorce and "things to divide"
Customer: Piotr, 44, Białołęka
Situation: After 12 years of marriage, Piotr got divorced. The apartment contained shared belongings – furniture they bought together, sports equipment, tools. Until they determine who gets what, everything needs to be somewhere.
Challenge:
- Tense situation – doesn't want to be accused of "hiding assets"
- Needs a neutral place for "disputed" items
- Ex-spouse must be assured things are safe
Solution: A 6m² unit with access for both parties (two codes). All shared belongings moved to Celtic. The court sees that assets are secured, not hidden.
